The AGB 770C / AGB 770C-N is suitable for above ground installation of a DN15mm / 20mm, plastic-bodied, volumetric water meter, 114mm / 165mm long, which is approved to Class C for Sensus 220C, or other brands. 15mm / 20mm Smart Meters can also be accommodated.
The AGB body is available in beige, with a black or blue lid.
The box is designed to be buried to a depth of 400mm below ground.
The box is positioned above ground for ease of meter reading.
The box has a tamper-proof lid, and the robust construction protects the meter against vandalism and pedestrian damage.
The flow restrictor is easily installed and removed without changing fittings.
The AGB has a secure, isolating ¼-turn valve, which is not accessible to the consumer.
The meter is only accessible by using a special key. A secondary locking device is also available for the restrictor body.
The consumer valve is located above ground for easy access and has a removable handle for consumer use.
The box is fitted with 20mm internal piping, valves, and fittings for low friction loss.
The piping and fittings are fusion welded for added strength.
Each unit is pressure tested to 24 Bar for 2 minutes.
